Terms and conditions
This is a translation of our Dutch terms and conditions. In case of any discrepancy, the Dutch version prevails.
1. Who we are

2. Scope
These terms apply to every order placed through this webshop. At checkout you confirm that you have read and accepted them. Deviations only apply if we agree them with you in writing.
3. Offer and product information
We describe and photograph every perfume with care. Photos and scent descriptions remain an impression: a bottle or label may differ slightly, and every scent smells a little different on every skin. Obvious mistakes or errors in the offer, such as a clearly incorrect price, do not bind us. Our offer is valid while stocks last.
4. Prices
All prices are in euros, including VAT. Any shipping costs are shown separately before you confirm your order. The applicable price is the price at the time of your order.
5. Order and payment
Your order is final as soon as you have completed the payment. You immediately see a confirmation with the order number and a summary of your order. Payments are processed securely by our payment partner Stripe, using the methods offered on the payment page, such as Bancontact, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay. We may refuse or cancel an order in case of an obvious error or if a product is no longer available. In that case we refund the full amount immediately.
6. Delivery and pick-up
We deliver to almost the entire European Union. Perfume may only be transported by road, so we do not deliver to Cyprus, Malta and Greece, nor to islands or overseas territories that the carrier cannot reach by road. You can also pick up your order free of charge in our boutique in Hasselt; we will let you know when it is ready. Shipping costs per country can be found on the Shipping & returns page.
We ship as quickly as possible, and no later than 30 days after your order. If that is not possible, we will let you know and you may cancel the order free of charge. The risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or someone you designate, receive the parcel. Is your parcel damaged on delivery? Please let us know as soon as possible, ideally with a photo.
Pre-orders: some perfumes can be ordered before they are in the boutique. This is clearly stated with the pre-order. You pay when you order, and we ship or set aside your order as soon as the perfume arrives; we will let you know the expected date as soon as it is known. Until shipment you can cancel a pre-order free of charge, in which case we refund the full amount within 14 days.
7. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of receipt without giving any reason. Let us know unambiguously within that period, by email (maisonmenr@gmail.com), by phone or using the model form below. Then return the product within 14 days to Sint-Jozefsstraat 1, 3500 Hasselt, Belgium. The direct cost of returning it is yours.
We refund the full purchase price, including the standard shipping costs, within 14 days of your notification, using the same means of payment you used. We may withhold the refund until we have received the product back or until you have shown that you have sent it back.
Exception for perfumes: the right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if the seal (the foil or the packaging) has been broken after delivery. So please return a perfume unopened and in its original, sealed packaging. You are liable for any reduction in value resulting from handling other than what is necessary to examine the product.

Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract, and send it to maisonmenr@gmail.com.

9. Warranty
Every product comes with the legal two-year warranty for defects that existed at the time of delivery. Report a defect within two months of discovering it. We will then repair, replace or refund, as provided by law.
10. Complaints and disputes
A question or complaint? Call us on 0479 59 59 62 or email maisonmenr@gmail.com. We will look for a solution together with you. If that does not work, as a consumer you can turn to the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service (consumerombudsman.be).
11. Brands and images
The names, logos and product images of the perfume houses belong to their owners. You may not reproduce the content of this webshop without our written permission.
12. Privacy
How we handle your data is explained in our privacy policy.
13. Applicable law
These terms and every purchase are governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, the courts of the judicial district of Limburg have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the mandatory rules that protect you as a consumer.
